Kui Ricoh SP C250 prindib pärast tooneri vahetust ainult mustvalgelt, on põhjuseid tavaliselt kolm: samal ajal on otsa saanud veel mõni värviline tooner (siis lülitub printer ise mustvalgele printimisele), arvuti printimisseadetes on valitud mustvalge režiim või ei ole uus kassett lõpuni paigas ja printer ei näe seda. Kontrollida on lihtne: printige testleht printeri enda menüüst. Kui see tuleb värviline, on printer ja tooner korras ning põhjus on arvuti seadetes.
