Cartridge refilling – honestly, when it pays off
We have been refilling toner cartridges since 1994. But let’s be honest right away: refilling is not always the cheapest option. Often a new compatible toner costs the same or less – and you get it immediately. Below we explain when refilling pays off and when it doesn’t.

When does refilling pay off?
- The original toner is expensive – the pricier the original, the bigger the saving
- There is no decent compatible for your printer – happens with newer and rarer models
- You want to stay with the original cartridge – we refill your own cartridge, original housing and parts
- You already have empty cartridges – a cartridge sitting in a drawer is money not yet thrown away
When is it smarter to buy a new compatible toner?
- When a compatible costs the same or less than refilling
- When you need the printer right away – refilling takes a working day
- When you have an HP+ printer – these do not accept refilled cartridges, so we don’t take on that work

For this model the compatible is just as good a choice and arrives faster – we say it straight, because you’d work it out yourself anyway. With printers whose originals cost more, the maths quickly turns in favour of refilling. Send us your model and we’ll tell you which way it comes out for you.
What do we actually do with the cartridge?
Refilling is not just pouring in powder.
Old powder, residue and dust come out
Drum, wiper blade, rollers – we replace everything that is worn
Powder matched to the model; a chip if the printer wouldn’t otherwise recognise the cartridge
We print a test page – only then do we hand the cartridge back
Price and ordering
The price is from 4 €, depending on the cartridge model and capacity. We don’t keep a flat price list – a small black laser toner and a high-capacity colour one are not the same job. Send us the model and we’ll reply with a price the same working day.

About the environment
Every refilled cartridge is one cartridge that didn’t need to be manufactured and wasn’t thrown away. An empty toner is not household waste – it contains plastic, metal and powder residue. We won’t throw around numbers about litres of oil; the principle is simple: reusing what exists burdens the environment less than making something new and discarding the old.
If you don’t want a refill, just bring us your empty cartridges anyway – we accept them free of charge and send them to the right place.
Frequently asked questions about cartridge refilling
Is a refilled toner as good as a new one?
A properly refilled toner prints so that you can’t tell the difference. The difference appears when worn parts are left unreplaced – which we don’t do.
Does refilling void the printer’s warranty?
No, it doesn’t. Under EU law a manufacturer may not refuse warranty service merely because you used a third-party or refilled cartridge. If a toner demonstrably damaged the printer, we would be liable – that’s what our warranty is for.
Can every toner be refilled?
Almost all laser printer toners. The exception is the HP+ series – those printers don’t accept refilled cartridges, so we don’t take on that work. If in doubt, ask and we’ll tell you honestly.
How long does refilling take?
Usually one working day. If it’s really urgent, let us know – we’ll see what we can do.
How many times can the same cartridge be refilled?
Usually 3–5 times, depending on its condition. We check the wear at every refill and tell you honestly when a cartridge has had its day.
Do you offer a courier service?
Yes, 20 € both ways in Tallinn, free for regular customers. Across Estonia you can use a parcel service.
